A set of six graduated antique brass measures made in France. The set consists of a half litre, 2DL (decilitre)/1DL, half DL, 2CL (centilitre) and 1CL. The front of each measure is stamped with the volume amount. The handle is bent over at the top making it easy to grip. Part of the base of the half DL measure has come away from the side as seen in the photograph. The brass of the set has marking consistent with age and use. They are charming decorative pieces that will look stunning as ornaments in any kitchen or fireside. To bring them into the 21st Century why not fill them with nuts, napkins or floral decoration, ideal for a Christmas table or hang them in the Christmas tree filled with chocolate!
