This fully working antique Rococo style single light hall lantern dates from the early 20th century. There are four frosted etched starburst glass panels sitting within a floral brass frame. The style reflects the Rococo tradition with cherubs featured on each side. This type of lantern was designed for use in hallways or entryways to provide a decorative and functional lighting solution to the space below. Where would you hang it? The porch, conservatory, perhaps even the kitchen. It really is delightful. The inverted light (bulb included) is held in place with the original chain and ceiling rose. The length of the cable can be reduced dependent on height of ceiling. A chain at the top of the lantern can be hooked to the ceiling rose for additonal support.
We recommend that ceiling lights are fitted by a qualified electrician.
