Hand crafted papier-mâché cat bust with striking painted features and sporting a colourful collar. Made to take part in a French village carnival procession. It would have been draped in material and held aloft on a pole. This is a stunning decorative piece of folk art which certainly draws the eye. There is minor damage to the left ear.
