A sleek and slender figure of a greyhound produced by Staffordshire potteries in the mid-1900s. It is beautifully hand painted in burnt sienna and white with the muzzle, eyes and collar highlighted in black. This greyhound sits elegantly on a cobalt blue base with gilt line. There is a hole in the base to hold a pen or pencil. Although a 19th century piece this figure has a deco style and will look stunning in both a traditional and contemporary interior.
