West African bronze figures produced by metalsmiths with artistry and skill in a pleasing minimalist design. Each figure is decked in a necklace with wrist and ankle bangles. A lovely touch is a shoulder strap with a purse which helps the seated figures balance. The musicians are playing the lur; a woodwind instrument, the balafon; a percussion instrument and the kora; a stringed instrument. The bronze is enhanced by Verdigris. The balafon is missing one calabash (gourd) tied underneath. These are used as resonators.
