The 'Wonder' lamp, type AGRAL, was equipment used by SNCF (French National Railway) workers. We have taken the outer cover back to a cast alloy finish and have converted the lamp from battery operated to electricity, with the addition of an inline switch, vintage style three cord cable and BS plug. The circular glass at the front has been covered with opaque film to give a softer glow and the red light at the back projects a warm beam.
Railway workers would have carried it to light their path and alert trains travelling along the tracks. A smart piece of 1950s industrial lighting. Our lamp has been PAT tested and is ready to use.
